Re: MODARTT VIDEO CONTEST 2023 - instructions

Just wondering... I'm currently working on something which isn't actually a video, it's audio only, but it would appear on YouTube Music with a static picture. Would that be acceptable as an entry? I would prefer to do a proper video, and will do so if I have enough time, but I'm considering my options.

It needs to be an animated video. A static picture is not sufficient.

Ah, good to know, thanks for clarifying that. I do now have a couple of ideas for videos so I'll work on those.

Both Windows and macOS have animation rendering features that change both colours and visual effects in response to the sound of music currently playing.

This is probably the easiest way to generate video.

Otherwise if you have a pet cat or dog that you have trained to do tricks, that can be more interesting!

Re: MODARTT VIDEO CONTEST 2023 - instructions

Oh yes, there are lots of quick and easy ways to generate video. Another option is to use royalty free videos from sites such as Pexels and Pixabay, as I have done in the past. Or you can use OBS Studio to capture your Pianoteq screen as you play back your recording. I had a particular reason for asking about the audio with a static picture, which will become clear when I post the result in the Pianoteq Recordings section (by the end of November, I hope).

Re: MODARTT VIDEO CONTEST 2023 - instructions

Not all entries made it to the contest page – is this done manually or automatically?
I guess it's done manually and might be updated - but coincidently, it stopped around noon, so if it's done automatically, it maybe closed by 11:59 AM, not 11:59 PM.

Re: MODARTT VIDEO CONTEST 2023 - instructions

Hello everyone!
The thread accepting applications for MODARTT VIDEO CONTEST 2023 has just been closed.
I wanted to make one last entry. Because it is written (in the Bible) that the last will be first :-)
