Updated with Autumn Nostalgia.

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

My composition ”The Truth” with my "new" piano ”Steintall” (layered Steingraeber Warm and U4 Tall). Try to get the layered piano names in some way in the new piano name. Amazing these features in Ptq 7. Thank you Modartt.

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

My test with Layering: Steingraeber, YC5, Bechstein, Electrapiano.  Well, a new sound

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

Agree with Gaston, and like to say that I really celebrated in hearing your piece "The Truth" - the piano sound is interesting for this.

Has a relaxed sound but a very gently earnest message to impart - the sound of casual wisdom - and your flourishes so tasteful. (also enjoying Autumn Nostalgia while compiling my thanks to you).

I can definitely feel your presence and human warmth and intelligence alive within your music, so good to hear. Thank you again Pianoteqenthusiast.

Dear Qexl, now I can’t find enough good words to thank you, for your deep kind thougts in your comment. But I must have done something right to deserve such comment. Can only say that what you write impacts me emotionally. Kind words can be easy to say/write, but their echoes are truly endless. The ripples of your words can spread through my life into lives of others. You know, that kind words have their own ripples, and kindness to someone, saying it to someone else…..it can go on. What you have done/said here, you can be sure ”I pay it forward”.
I hope these words make your life more tolerable in this difficult time
Regards,

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

Unbelievable   Didn’t work so well but fun. U4+Petrof

It’s a big step to jump from playing Bach (as old, soon at the end of your life) to play Boogie-Woogie or something like it….:)  My piano teacher taught me nothing about music like this and said……Well, I’m self-taught and still going on learning. I think that at the end of life, what matters are what we shared, that we have done our best and that we are thankful for what we have. And I think the change taking place all the time in my playing, is a new beginning -  not an ending. Thanks to Pianoteq, Organteq, Modartt - and the forum members

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

You're going to have so much fun with this if you pursue it I imagine - you're way better than I'll ever get - can't tie myself to the syncopation required. Great to hear you letting the fingers fly this way

If you don’t have time to layer/morph? Maybe NY Steinway D Hybrid can be useful when making music. I like the sound - I think it's like alredy morphed and layered

NY Steinway D Prepared, a bit modified.
I was smiling at myself when listened to this piece. An old man, who can not keep the rhythm of the music. But that was what my teacher said when I was young, so I stopped playing  then   Now I play and learn every day the time I have left.

Christmas Prayer - in time of coronavirus.
When making the music, I felt fear, but at the same time hope, that we overcome this disease. The alternations with minor and major describe my emotions. The ending 2,55 - 3,33 describe my feeling that we can handle this.

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

When I tried this sound I immediately liked it much. It gave me gentle feelings, and after an hour this piece suddenly was born. Hope you like it

My Wild Duck

I listened long ago to Gonzales Gogol. Now I was inspired to make something and this is the outcome, my composition My Wild Duck. I read that gogol come from Ukrainian gogol 'wild duck'. That how I named my composition. It is just for laughs, as an amusement for guests, for fun. Maybe some of you find it amusing too

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

Christmas again

Revised with Pleyel Player 1926. (name before Waiting for Christmas....)
I thought this could be the right piano this time, when taking a little time out to reflect on my christmas childhood memories.

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

Wow, every time I visit so many new pieces - and all with such heart and lovely thoughts attached.

Just listened to "Christmas Again" on the main forum - love what you've created, lovely moments and surprises ring true.

Enjoyed also "My Wild Duck" fun around the piano - also felt your empathetic thoughts through "Gentle" and the narrative marked so well in "Christmas Prayer".

All good things to you.

Thank You for giving me Inspiration, Qexl. I appreciate your encouragement. Nice that you like my music. But I have to say, my fingers, some days they do not work, some days better. Probably beginning osteoarthritis. I know it is affecting millions of people worldwide. I play more those days they work. Just wishing that I can take part in the Contest once again, my ninth   Maybe I have to compose the entry piece already in summer, and keep it waiting, if it goes worse. Anyway, I love playing. And although my time is short here on earth, it don’t bother me. I have seen my life has been, and is, meaningful to me and others, and has been rewarding. So I live every day happy and do all things I like, and can do, as long as I live, and making other peopke happy make me happy. Thank you for always being helpful and for you nice comments
Thank you,

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

Winter cold
I thought my piece is perfect for the cold week here now, - 16°C last night.

I went down to the lake to feed the mallards. The music describe the cold water where mallards were swimming back and forth. They seemed dissatisfied when I fed them bread crumbs. I myself froze and thought - In any case, you mallards, don’t have Covid - and went home. Then the mallards were quiet.
I was inspired by a Finnish composer, A Sallinen. Was thinking of his music when looking at the mallards. Then this was born.
Amazing composition? Someone think so. I don't know about that

Re: My Pianoteq music in one place (Pianoteqenthusiast)

BACH: "Little Prelude" in E major (BWV 937) from Six Little Preludes (BWV 933-938). + drums.

It’s such a wonderful prelude (learning this now). I think it is not so little because, to me, it’s not easy, it’s challenging. Like my Bach-playing with Organteq (I think over 100 recordings now) Bach's music is always difficult.
Anyway, we don’t have a Pianoteq with Organteq pedalboard yet, so I tried with some ”drums” to classical music. And, It didn't turn out so well, as I had expected? Or did it……

Bach Little Prelude in E Minor BWV 938

The Six Little Preludes ( BWV 933-938) are a group of preludes written by the composer Johan Sebastian Bach for harpsichord. They are all short, pedagogical efforts written in or around the period of 1717–1720, but they were not published until 1802.This is one of a series of 18 preludes Bach sporadically produced primarily for instructive purposes.(Wikipedia)
