Hi YvesTh,
I have taken the plunge and ordered the abbey road and tracker bundle. Bit of a learning curve ahead, but that's good for the brain!
Warmest regards,
Chris
I hope you will enjoy it... give us your opinion ...
OK, where to start???
Here goes...
The headtracker arrived today. I got it set up very easily (very intuitive setup process). I initially set it up with the Abby Road Studios nx plugin, but I thought the sound was to coloured. It brilliant if you want to recreate a particular studio's sound (there's also a famous German studio and I think there is another), but I wanted to keep it as clean as possible. With this in mind I took the plunge and bought the nx mix plugin (it's currently €29 instead of €109). I then download, activated and pulled up this nx mix plugin and was absolutely convinced that I'd made the right choice. I chose the 7.1Stereo version of the plugin and boy does it sound good. It more than adds to the realism of Pianoteq (and Pianoteq was brilliant in my eyes before!). I highly recommend this setup.
A great big thank you to you YvesTh. The learning curve was so easy with this solution and I extremely grateful for your recommendation. May I humbly recommend to you the nx mix plugin.
Thank you to to Modartt, Waves Audio and Van of Meershop, Netherlands, where I purchased the tracker and Abbey Road Studios bundle.
Thanks again to all,
Warmest regards,
Chris
