I've begun trying out the different acoustic pianos in PTQ 8.0 and there is such a huge difference in the ones I tried, especially the NY Steinway and the YC5. They are just dazzling! Can't wait to try more.

I was just composing a pop ballad using the YC5 Improv, and yes, it's gorgeous. It's perfect.
YC5: yes! Finally I can enjoy this piano! In previous versions I would fiddle about with it for a while, say 'well, it's OK... sort of...' and then go back to the Steinway B. But now that slightly weird timbre has been evened out - it's great!

For playing rock piano it's just incredible!
Agree. The Yamaha YC5 is much refined, very realistic, a pleasure to play.
I upgraded from V7 to V8 and the sound has definitely improved. Very pleased with this update. The C. Bechstein is beautiful!
