Topic: Wonderful update!

I've begun trying out the different acoustic pianos in PTQ 8.0 and there is such a huge difference in the ones I tried, especially the NY Steinway and the YC5.  They are just dazzling!  Can't wait to try more.

I was just composing a pop ballad using the YC5 Improv, and yes, it's gorgeous. It's perfect.

Pianoteq 6 Std, Bluthner, Model B, Grotian, YC5, Hohner, Kremsegg #1, Electric Pianos. Roland FP-90, Windows 10 quad core, Xenyx Q802USB, Yamaha HS8 monitors, Audio Technica
ATH-M50x headphones.

YC5: yes! Finally I can enjoy this piano! In previous versions I would fiddle about with it for a while, say 'well, it's OK... sort of...' and then go back to the Steinway B. But now that slightly weird timbre has been evened out - it's great!

For playing rock piano it's just incredible!

Agree. The Yamaha YC5 is much refined, very realistic, a pleasure to play.

I upgraded from V7 to V8 and the sound has definitely improved.  Very pleased with this update.  The C. Bechstein is beautiful!
