I want to answer your question first and then comment on your nice performance.
Yes, yes, yes The history of organ music goes back thousands of years. Originally, organ music was played in the background at gladiatorial fights in ancient Greece, at games, later in Europe different music. And today there are actually quite a few people who have taken this old instrument and put a modern twist on it.
But today pipe organs are big, expensive, and complicated. And you have to go to a church or a concert hall to listen. But also younger people are now playing with it. And now we have Organteq that you can take with you anywhere
I have tried and played different kind of music (thery are here and on yt) and can say that you can play any music with a Pipe organ, at least with Organteq. It is colorful and have a huge dynamic range compared to piano. Organteq, the king (or Queen) of instruments, it is always a pleasure to play it.
In my imagination I dream of sitting in a park in Paris one summer and playing with Organteq, and giant speakers, with a text "Pop on Organteqpipes"
Your music,
Great playing again. Nice that you change registration from 0,52 - 1,12. Good short pause at 0.30-033. And the key change at 1,12. Nice.
Well done!
Keep them coming!
(and try the tremolo and use couplers)
Best wishes,

Here is a popular hit (at that time from the very past, whenever it was, no one knows), an old folksong .

Sorry for the late reply and the fact that you had to remind me -
The history of music is fascinating as are the ancient instruments - I particularly like the sound of the crumhorn. And some of the pipes on the renaissance organ are just fabulous! I wish Organteq makes these available soon...
The only issue I had with playing 'pop' on the organ was the speed of the pedals sounding. The attach is slower than on bass guitars and I wondered how well the bass came across, especially when playing staccato.
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm of the understanding that the midi mapping can be saved with the registration change buttons or have I got that wrong... I haven't tried it yet - but that would make it easier to play the 3 manuals on a 2 keyboard spinet organ as I can change the registrations using buttons on the el-900 quite easily.
Thanks again, hope to get as good as you with registration settings one day
