Cantabile: I have already practiced, for quite a long time.
This was the solution I had found to replace the retrospective recording of Cubase when I switched to Reaper.
But it is much more cumbersome to manage than the MIDI recorder embedded in Pianoteq.
Two tracks in the Daw, of course. This is what I do in the lack of a pure Pianoteq solution.
Anyway my playing in Pianoteq always end up in Reaper.
But with Pianoteq, when I stop playing it stops recording without me having to tell him.
If I hit Record in Reaper, either I decide to let it run, but it can last half an hour and I end up with a huge MIDI file, or I have to stop it manually, Reaper doesn't know when I have finished a phrase.
