I've been using this for about 12 years. I don't have the latest - still using Version 12.
I doubt you'll find anything so powerful at such a low cost, and the forum support is second to none.
The "Event List" is the screen that permits very detailed editing of a midi file and which shows all the midi controls - this is where I see the multiple Pedal Controls from my own midis and those of others.
I've literally taken a piece that was played in "complete rubato" and quantized it into strict time. I've also used it to score other parts note by note (guitar, electronic piano sounds, etc). to add to my bare piano midi. Adding drums is very simple.
In truth, what I really like is the ability to correct mistakes in my playing. If a note is too loud or soft, or the timing is wrong, or even if I need an extra note (or more), it's a simple matter. I've also corrected pedaling that I screwed up on.
If you use midi, and you're not a perfect player, this program might be the answer.
Deleting portions or closing a gap is very simple to do with Powertracks.

PS - last night's game was disappointing for me - and you may know which one I'm referring to.
