Topic: Favorite Selections from Stig’s/Ptqenthusiast’s ’”Music Library”

I'm making a collection of music here, music/compositions I haven't uploaded before, but also rare pieces from the past with a new sound, as well as special pieces that means a lot to me, Pianoteq and Organteq.

Today’s selection is:
A bit Bach.like, Bach inspired and 4 variations on Mozart's Twinkle twinkle  Ah vous dirai-je, Maman.

My Music library in my computer shows almost 1000 pieces Pianoteq and almost 300 Organteq pieces.

A bit Bach-like (old Ptq version)

Bach inspired (old pianoteq version)

Twinkle twinkle   Mozart   (old recording updated with Ptq 8 Kawai)

I had to play the hands separately in the fast 4th section, one hand first and then the other hand, and merge them into one track.
And it was impossible at the time years ago to play the fastest sections, there are 12. But nice to give it a try, Unfortunatelly I have so small hands and hook on little finger, pinky, that give problems with certain pieces and now at my age the finger get more and more stiff. But I struggle!

All the best, everyone

Bach BWV 911.
The toccatas represent Bach's earliest keyboard compositions, 910 911 916 compiled by Bach's oldest brother, Johann Christoph Bach between 1707 and 1713.

Here are two old recordings with, as in my opinion, have good sound already 2014 and 2017.I still like the Ptq version 5.

Pianoteq 5, August 2014  based on Bluethner. I think this sound is really soft and beautiful in my improvisation. Ptq sounded good already then.

Old recording, 2017, with Pianoteq 5, nice sound already then. Don’t remember which preset it is.

I still like this Ptq 5 sound, although nothing is better , more enjoyable, than Kawai and Bösendorfer. They are in a class of their own.
Fell free to give a comment about the sound, you might like it.....

really enjoyed your PTQ5 improvisation.  indeed the sound is quite good, considering that was over 10 years ago.  amazing how far it's come.  maybe you should try something similar with the modern engine to see how it compares

Thank you Stig for your recording of 2014 with the Bluethner Grand. I appreciate this beautiful and romatic sound very much, because a friend of mine has such a Bluethner Grand at his home. And your improvisation lets us hear the sound of this wonderful instrument quite clear!
