using actually a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD as USB audio interface, I get some kind of cracks when I play many stops together and, also, the tutti of the organs. I have tried many settings of buffer size from 256 to 1024 samples. But, in any cases, I get this noise. Is there anybody using this same audio interface without trouble or, which USB audio interface do you use without this problem, even with many stops together.
Thank you for any help.
Hi Bidouille,
I have been fighting with my little Mac Mini, which always says that Can’t handle all information, when I’m using many stops. Now I finally found a way around the problem, and can use all stops ( Tutti ) when needed.
I have to play with a smaller number of stops when recording, and do not use all the stops, until I export the piece to mp3 for youtube. Then I put all stops, or so many I need, on without listening, just export. Because I found out, that when rendering, there is no polyphony limitation.
I have Scarlett 2i4.
Hope this help you, try it....
Here an example when had many stops just before rendering to mp 3, no problem although I recorded with just some stops on
