Topic: Bach new video Fugue n 6 in D minor, BWV 851

Dear Friend,

Today, another small step towards the realization of my dream: recording the entire WTC I with Pianoteq. This fugue follows the Prelude I've published  last week. I hope you like it !

The fugue (a 3) in D minor is full of ingenious devices, for it contains not only strettos, but inversion of the theme. The latter has the two -fold formation so frequently to be met with in Bach, in its first half it advances quietly by
diatonic steps, and in its second becomes somewhat passionate, concluding on the fifth and, by way of interrogation, with a shake.

As usual, Pianoteq is excellent on my piano.

My actual setting is:

Played on Yamaha P125 piano stage                                          Video Recording Samsung Galaxy A54.
VST: Hamburg Steinway D Pianoteq Stage 8.2.1

The Fugue is nice!
Every note is clearly played -  the voices ring out clearly -  And perfect tempo again -  if it gets faster than this, I think I can’t  enjoy it as now.
Well done Carmelo!

Thank you

Best wishes,

Stig

Thank you very much for your comment Budo. The road is still very very long but every day I take a small step towards the goal.
I don't know if I'll reach it, but I'll try with all my might.
I'm really happy you liked my video!
