Topic: Does the free version come with a .dll file to use with Sibelius?"

I downloaded the free version of Pianoteq, and it appears to lack a .dll file. Is it correct that Sibelius needs a .dll file to use Pianoteq as a plugin?

Apparently, the free version does not include a .dll for plug-in for a trial in my Sibelius notation program. I won't buy Pianoteq until I can hear that is will plug in to Sibelius.

don't know about any "free" version (maybe the demo, which I don't remember how it was) but if Sibelius can load vst or vst3 plugins (which it most certainly can, and definitely should) you're OK. Pianoteq loads fine as both plugin formats (and AU, for that matter) in any DAW I know of.

you'll be fine. have tried contacting support?
