Topic: Remove irritating "ofline rendering in progress" notice

I would like to hide the irritating " offline rendering in progress" notice that sits on top of the UI much of the time. This is new in version 8 I think; recent anyway.

Does anyone else see this popup?

Mac OS 14.5 on Apple Silicon / Digital Performer 11.3 / Pianoteq 8.3.1

Thanks

This only appears for me when exporting audio. It does not display at any other time. OS 13.6

Are you using Digital Performer?

Re: Remove irritating "ofline rendering in progress" notice

This is caused by the "Pre-gen" feature of Digital Performer, here is an excerpt of their manual:

Tips for reducing plug-in performance load
For pre-gen virtual instruments, make sure the MIDI track feeding the instrument is not record-enabled (which temporarily puts them in RT
mode).

I'm not sure if it is possible to disable it for some plugins.

I'll check with my MOTU friends this Friday on our regular webinar. Many are Pianoteq users.

However I do use other VIs in DP that do not display anything in the UI while pre-gen is going on. I suspect Pianoteq coders can find a way not to display anything. DP pre-gen has been around for a long time and Pianoteq's never displayed anything till now.
