Topic: Prelude, Bach "Von Himmel hoch, da komm ich her" Organteq 2

Bach - Das Orgelbüchlein: "Von Himmel hoch, da komm ich her" BWV 606 Prelude,  J. S. Bach (1685-1750)

People  play this short prelude incredibly fast or incredibly slow. My tempo is what I think is the one that reflects the mood of this Christmas choral prelude, energy and joy. And my registration, as an experiment, I don't want to sound like a "normal" organ, as Organteq 2 offers an incredible number of possibilities with advanced registrations.

Here I have quite a lot of tremolo in one manual and strong treble in the sound with stops Mixtura 4f and Zimbel 3f. In settings, we have fantastic possibilities, so I tried to reduce the brightness in stops Mixtura and Zimbel. Interesting to change the sound of single stops.

For those who don’t own Organteq 2 or don’t have noticed it, there are pipe-specific parameters:
each stop can be voiced pipe-per-pipe:

volume, detune, brightness, air noise, wind jitter, chiff amount, tremulant sensitivity.   Thanks to Roman!

"Everything in Organteq can be tweaked - from the composition of the organ to the sound of each pipe".

All the best, everyone
