Topic: Multichannel mutiple instances

I must use a minimum of 8 Organtech vst plugins, in order to send each organ instance to a separate audio output.
I use it in performance and is so HEAVY that it often overflows even a MacStudio processor.

Is there any other way to have 8 or more identical Organtech polyphonic or mono instances within a single vst, each instance routed on a different audio output ?

In mutlichannels, the stereo reverb is mostly useless as a good ambisonic reverb can be easily added afterwards. Therefore, each instance could be stripped to a single keyboard, mono audio output, single midi channel, no reverb...etc.

This would open a hole new word of uses for Organtech. Organtech is the one organ who should definitely offer this feature.

Thanks a lot

Re: Multichannel mutiple instances

I believe you could, if I'm understanding correctly.  OTQ supports multi-channel audio (8 channels), if your host DAW or ASIO device supports multiple channels.  So, you can isolate each division to a different stereo output.

If you could provide more information on exactly how you're using OTQ, we should be able to help you get it into 8-channel mode in the settings which should give you what you're after (I hope).

This is from the documentation, in case it helps:

5.1.4. Multi-channels output
Two output configurations are available:

2 Channels: the sound of all the four divisions is mixed to the main stereo output,
8 Channels: each division has its own stereo output. The audio routing matrix allows you to send any channel of each division to one, or more, of the available output channels (8 channels maximum). In standalone mode, you have to make sure that your audio device has enough enabled channels. When used as plug-in, make sure the track is set to receive eight channels.

If you're in a DAW, you can get 8-channel easily--if my memory serves, but you might need specific DAW settings or project file settings for 8-channel to work smoothly.
