Topic: The Raven Speaks (Pianoteq)

here's a tune by Keith Jarrett, "The Raven Speaks."  it appears on a great album with Gary Burton that has every track in the book. it's just about the only album that's true about (the only other one i know is Hotel Hello, again by Gary Burton but with Steve Swallow).  kind of a strange fact i guess ...

Have to say now, an important thing for me is to listen to budo, in my "adventure" with jazz music ..
You open my world to many composers and pieces that I never heard before.
And the section 3,27 - 4,28   ahh, word flow is not enough this time, let me say : the run, proceed, glide, slide, drift,  (well super flow). Like it.
And the jump in ending section,   4,37, 4,39, 4,41  very expressive, bravo!
Thank you budo

Best wishes,

Stig

thank you so much! i'm glad you like the adventure.  this forum is an adventure for me too.  you definitely have a knack for finding rather little known pieces.  i get a lot from all the contributors here!  so many cool performances and chances to learn new things
