Topic: Redo (linux) broken

Can anyone confirm [redo] (Ctrl+Y) doesn't work in 8.3? Haven't checked other versions (or windows), but older Versions of 7 and 6 do not have a problem

While I'm up, another thing I've noticed different in version 8 (verified in 8.3) is that Pedal Down if activated (pressed down via physical pedal) gets reset when changing patches, whereas this didn't happen in earlier editions (version 6 and 7)... not sure if that is "by design" now, of course.

Your PT's Ctrl+Y is probably double assigned in keyboard shortcuts. Remove the shortcut for the function you don't want. I'm a big re-do person myself. I bet someone at Modartt already noticed this one.

MOTU M2 using native ASIO driver, Windows 11, weird tweaks needed to make it work, but seems fine now.
I have posted several times about tweaking Pianoteq

Correct! It was assigned also to Morph / Layers freeze, but I don't recall ever setting that manually. Not sure if it was default. Didn't think to check for an override related to system-style commands ty

Re: Redo (linux) broken

Can confirm same on Win 10.

Def. seems a conflict with same key binding set by default for "freeze" within morph/layers.

I rebind Ctrl+Y (for normal re-do function) to Ctrl+Shift+Z (in options/general/set key bindings - iirc it could be called something else)

I find Ctrl+Z easier for re-do (one hand ma!)

But - definitely, if you prefer Ctrl+Y for re-do, you could re-bind for morph/layers to something like Ctrl+E - and that will allow you to use Ctrl+Y normally too.

Maybe Pianoteq might alter the morph/layers shortcut to something like Ctrl+E in an update? Good catch worldwideweary!
