A short improvisation with Pianoteq Bösendorfer 280VC and Acustica Audio Silver.

And this is the original playing with Production Voices Concert Grand.
The midi file recorded from this performance was reused in the video above.

Vey beautiful music. I like it. And very good playing. Thank you liquid bird for sharing.

When it comes to piano sound, it's always a matter of personal taste, I have to say that I personally like the Ptq sound better than the Concert. to me there is something missing, a bit cold…thin sound. In my opinion there is ”life” in this Ptq sound, beautiful rich deep, harmonious, room feeling sound… How did you do this, is there changes in the sound or is the preset as  it is…?

But musicians should, of course, use what they like, it's good that there are many possibilities in the sound selection of pianos, something for everyone

Nice to meet you liquidbird. Waiting for more. Keep going!

Best wishes,

Stig

Hi Stig! Thank you for enjoying my playing.

For both recordings, I used the sound of the respective presets unaltered, with the exception of turning off the preset's reverb (if any).
For the Silver reverb, I also used the preset as is.
And added a compressor and limiter.
If there's any character to the Pianoteq sound you hear in the video, I think it's a combination of the Warm preset's sound and the reverb's rich and dark character.

I feel like the 280VC has deep sound, and I think I can use it in more cases than before.
