When I heard your Organteq version of this I said Bravo Steve!!! I love it, love it.
This The Brook is wonderful creativity. Very nice with Ruckers II harpsichord too. But, but my personal feeling leans more towards the Organteq version - it is your amazing sound creation with Organteq, such a lovely atmosphere, It is marvellous, amazing. A stream of water…
And I listened to Niccolò Paganini - Caprice for Solo Violin, Op. 1 No. 1 and Couperin: Le Tic Toc Choc Ou Les Maillotins - in them there is something similar. Good, you are in the same amazing genre as these great composers!
And I said last time, I would have voted for this Oganteq version of The Brook if it had been in the contest
Thank you so much Steve for sharing. It is always nice to listen to your music.
All the best, my friend
Stig
p.s. Nice picture, is it AI?

Hi Stig--
I like the organ version better too. I'm anxious to learn to use the old 32-note pedalboard I bought and am now in the process of converting to MIDI. The Brook will be one of my practice pieces using the pedalboard. One reason I like a pedalboard is that it can compensate for the lack of a sustain function in an organ: bass notes played on the pedal can bridge gaps in the parts played by the fingers when they must release a note in order to change position. I'm not a very mechanically-inclined do-it-yourself kind of person, so this pedalboard project has been as much a challenge as a pleasure to work on.
Anyway, I hope you are enjoying yourself and your life. Thanks for the comments. -Steve
Oh, yes, the background picture is AI (as is my current forum avatar); I used Midjourney to create them. I very much enjoy working with graphics and with AI tools, especially Midjourney, which seems to be one of the moust esthetically pleasing or artistic AI tools, even though there are now many alternatives.
