Topic: Change Effects w/ MIDI (Feature Request?)

I've searched high and low for this answer and I can't really seem to find anyone else who is asking a similar question (though I'm sure someone must be).  I am aware that the 3 effects can be toggled on/off, and have their individual parameters manipulated via MIDI, but what I am looking for is to change from one effect to another.  I.e. assign a knob that I can spin to change effect 1 from Wah to Tremolo to Delay etc...  Because no dialogue shows up when I right click on the effect name, and because there seems to be nothing in the Set Parameter menu that matches this functionality, it appears to pretty clearly be impossible at the moment (at least from within Pianoteq itself).  I'm even considering writing an automation script that will move my mouse and click the appropriate effect name from the drop-down for me and try and map that to a knob, but that obviously seems like overkill (while this should theoretically be pretty easy, I think the GUI automation will end up being kludgy and slow).  I'm curious if anyone else has ever wondered about this, or even perhaps tried the very workaround that I just described.

Cheers!!

all note effects can be mapped to midi controller changes via standard midi mapping facilities available in the options midi menu . Then you can you can trigger these effects using external midi controls pad , or use programs like sendmidi in a script and assign hot keys on your keyboard or on any usb foot switch to launch it .

What do you mean by "note effects?"  As I said in my original post, I am aware that most all parameters can be midi-mapped, but I am specifically asking about cycling through the different effect-types, which does not appear to be midi-assignable through the traditional/obvious methods.

I refer to vibrato , tremolo etc  you insert a new cc and assign the cc using  the ´set parameter ´ drop down menu above ´load preset’  you will find it . Cycling between the effects can be achieved by sending cc messages to a virtual midi driver such as the IAC driver bus on Mac .
