Topic: Looking for Sheet Music for *It's a Long Goodbye*

Hi Guys and Dolls,

i want to learn to play one of my all time favorite songs: *It's a Long Goodbye* (John Williams / Jack Sheldon)

It's the title song of the same-named Robert Altman movie from 1973

The OST has many variations of the song as a theme played during various scenes of the movie.

I searched the interweb, but only found a simplistic sheet at e-chords.

I'd prefer to learn a more advanced version - to challenge me, like for instance how the song is played by the Dave Crusin Trio:

Hi! I realise I am getting to this years late but have experienced the same problem(The Long Goodbye is one of my favourite songs too).

If you go to his comment section he answers questions about aquiring the music he is playing in the YouTube video. It costs US$10 and is only a lead sheet however. If in the 2 years since this was posted you have discovered a better solution, I would love to hear it!

Thanks a lot for pointing me to Mr. Mitchell ... and reminding me of one of my piano learning goals

I gave up my search shortly after nobody here was able to help with the sheet music.

I like the way Mr. Mitchell plays the song in the video, but can't imagine that following a lead sheet would allow or help me to play it like him ...

Anyway. looking forward to be able to do this some day ... after years of practise and study ... lol
