Topic: PianoTeq 8 stage not working in standalone mode.

hi, I recently upgraded to version eight, and I’m trying to use standalone mode for the first time. I’m hoping someone can help me with this issue:

I can’t play pianoteq in standalone mode from my Yamaha motif keyboard. The bluesy demo works though. So I’m guessing it’s a midi thing.

PTeq midi set up page shows notes channel set to “any.”
On the motif, midi receive and transmit are both set to one.

The motif works with Cubase with any virtual instrument I throw at it including pianoteq.
The motif is connected to my computer via USB midi.
Using windows 10.

thanks,
David

In "options", "devices" you have to "check" MIDI inputs (all)

You're welcome. That said, it's strange that it's not activated by default...
