Topic: Phaser on Zynthian

Hi everybody,

I am a new user to Pianoteq. The marvelous tool created by MODARTT geniuses, and this is my first post in this awsome community.

I have installed v8.2 STAGE on ZYNTHIAN, and though the UI is something limited, it performs fast and with a great sound.
My question is simple: I have tried to activate a PHASER effect (specially for electric pianos) and I have not been able.
Is this possible?

Moreover. I have tried to export some FXP sounds from iPad to ZYNTHIAN with such PHASER enabled, and though it seems that interface recognises them and upload, such sounds does not appear on sound settings.

Is there any clue? Am I missing something important?

If using the phaser FX you will want to use stereo mode  or mono to stereo FX (mono output with stereo effects applied).

Pianoteq cannot block external FX - neither would that be advantageous in any way shape or form.

Is there no forum for the ZYNTHIAN?

Have you been able to enable any other effects?
Is there limited FX slots - if this is the case then you can use a Channel Strip style plugin with multiple effects built in to circumvent such a limitation.

If there is for some reason some technical limitation in ZYNTHIAN you can of course apply phaser in Pianoteq - also you can switch the order of any FX - or have multiple of the same FX.

So do you actually meant one of the phaser effects within Pianoteq itself or external to Pianoteq?

If phaser doesn't work on any Pianoteq setting then report it as a bug to Modartt.

Re: Phaser on Zynthian

Hi Key Fumbler,

Thank you for your fast response.
Yes, I can insert PHASER as Zynthian external effect to Pianoteq. But in the iPad version is soooo easy tweaking effects that I am missing such functionality in Zynthian version.
And yes. There is a good forum on Zynthian, however did not find any topic related.
After posting I’ve found the way to activate PHASER :-) on Zynthian.

Now only need to know if it’s possible export and use fxp from iPad to ARM Zynthian.

Best regards
