Topic: Turn Out The Stars (Pianoteq)

here's a beautiful tune by Bill Evans.  he wrote it to honor his father, on the occasion of his death.  it's one of his most famous ballads.

What a marvelous composition, and done beautifully!
Love those little slow moments like the one at 2,00 - 2,09   2,23 - 2,30 and other short sections…Great job as always. I talked about dynamics last time and here the volume level, the small louds, and softs, and everything in between, the variety of dynamics add excitement and emotion to the piece. Masterfully done.
I love how the piece gradually grows in volume but fades again…

And, it feels, to me, that the wonderful ending begins at 5,50 and then later slowly fades and fades.
Thank you budo! You did it - beautifully!

Best wishes,

Stig

Hey there budo,

This was very nicely played. The Steinway has a very gentle sound, nicely suited to the piece. You used some very beautiful chords, and also went through some very intricate modulations !
