Topic: Pianoteq on iOS and simultaneous playing audio (e.g. via youtube)

Hi all,

I'm using Pianoteq on iOS (ipad pro m2) for a while now and really loving it. What I would like to do is play along with songs presented on youtube. The only thing I can think of is running Pianoteq as background-process (there's an option for that) and start youtube. But the lag is tremendous let alone the quirks.
Does anyone has some experience with this? Or could it be a nice enhancement for some future version of Pianoteq to play audio-files (mp3...)? :-)

Thanks,
Herman

Hi,
You should rather run PianoTeq as a AUv3 plugin inside a host like AUM or ApeMatrix and run along another AUv3 plugin like Web AU which allows to play YouTube videos.
This way everything stays in the same audio workflow and there should be no problem.
Only drawback is you need to buy a host plus a YouTube AUv3 player. Around 20€-30€ for both.

Hi Paulo,

Thank you for your response. I'll look into it.
