Topic: Bluetooth problem
I would like to play a backing track via bluetooth while using Pianoteq but can't seem to pair up my phone or laptop (playing the backing track) with the digital when Pianoteq is in the picture. I suspect the problem is that, when using Pianoteq on my Roland fp-9, I have to turn off "local control" on my piano, so I'm just sending midi data to my Mac. When attempting to pair via bluetooth, my phone's bluetooth function will tell me that I've successfully paired with the Roland but no sounds come out of my headphones except for Pianoteq itself. Does anyone know how to overcome this barrier ? The piano has a port for me to directly hook my phone to the piano, but I suspect I'll run into the same issue with local control turned off. Before I run out and get a cable for a direct hookup, I'd like to know if what I'm attempting is possible. My basic setup is Roland (midi) to Mac; Mac to headphone amplifier; amplifier to headphones or external monitors.
