As I mentioned in a previous post, all this experimenting has caused me to neglect my practice and so I'm creating a few exercises to recoup what has become rusty...
NO.1 - Bringing out middle voices...

NO.5 - Basic 5-3-4-2-3-1 finger movements for the left hand.

These are my own simple finger exercises and I would caution you to practice them (if you are so inclined) with relaxed hands, slow deliberate placement of the fingers in the 'heart' of the keys. They are not a substitue for good tutorage under the careful, student-focused steering of an accomplished pianist.
Like me, you find it difficult to play along to the click-click metronome? Keep slipping down the beat? No problems - make your own metronome...
Here I used Cubase Pro 12's MIDI Effect Insert "Beat Designer" to made a simple 'rock' beat and attached it to GSi's Drum80. This means that it will play over and over while the DAW is playing back or recording.
Using PianoTeq 8 I recorded a test version of the following...
This approach gives you variety to make practice interesting...
