here's a beautiful melody by Duke Ellington, "The Star-Crossed Lovers." this is one of his great ones in my opinion. i love how crazy it gets ... it would have been amazing to see him perform it.

Just Wow! What a brilliant Improvisation! Liked especially the sectiom 6,45 - 7,20! And a slightly longer improvisation, 9 minutes, it extended the enjoyment

thank you, i really appreciate it! yes this was did go on for quite a bit longer, some might say too long but it was easy to get lost in such a beautiful melody.
