Topic: Rocky Trails New Album - Jazz Guitar

Quite similar to my other recent posts but added back a 3rd guitar that is more like a rhythm guitar rather than a second lead.

Here are a couple of picks:

Enjoy!

Ken, those sound great! Very realistic guitar playing. Nicely done.

very cool stuff!  i've been listening to a lot of Ralph Towner lately and i hear some aspects of his playing in your guitar stuff.

Interesting this ” added back a 3rd guitar”. I actually had to listen very attentively to hear it, I mean to listen with full attention and focus.

I remembered my pupils, 10-12 years old, in school - the children sat listening attentively to the story I was telling  Now it was my turn to listen with full attention

Thank you kencarlino, and I agree with miiindbullets, realistic playing - and sound!

Best wishes,

Stig

Thanks Budo! I wasn't familiar with Ralph Towner but now I am listening to some of his stuff, very enjoyable!

Re: Rocky Trails New Album - Jazz Guitar

Thanks Stig for listening with attention   Yeah I get that, the 2 "rhythm" focused guitars have the same exact configuration of guitar and amp and playing in the same note ranges and even not playing too differently except on a few songs I have the 3rd guitar syncopating to a different rhythm. Also worried it would be too crowded hence I think there are more slower tempos in here to help avoid that, well that we my thinking anyway.

Much enjoyed this kencarlino! - Good sounding, atmospheric, nicely flowing music (will listen to the rest now).

Rocky trails but with a latino vibe (one more time).

If it was a bit slower, it could remind me (a bit) of some pieces like this :

Yeah I definitely could hear some similar elements, well except for the vocals which are really nice!  Very interesting guitar comes in at around 2:40, or is that not a guitar at all?

Thanks for point to this!
