Having started my quest for a better understanding of harmonic progression and chord structure, it's only fitting that this should include the fundamental scale and the temperament it sits upon.
The Salinas 1/3 comma Meantone scale provides for beautifully harmonious intervals as well as 'wolf-like' howling dissonance.

The instrument used is the Vox Continental by Arturia. This instrument offers detuning increments of 0.025, which is great - but if you are striving for precision then you will need to 'edit' the preset .vox file. Sadly, the Vox doesn't respond to ODDSOUND's MTS-ESP.
I could have used an excellent preset from PianoTeq - but thought the Vox added enough quirky flavour to justify the use...
