Topic: Fuzzy Blues

Just messing about testing Pianoteq sounds, but I was quite pleased with this little improv. It's a sort of blues, but it goes a bit out of focus at times!
Preset: HB Steinway D Chamber Recording with slight reductions to HH Forte and Hammer Noise, slight increases to Unison Width and Direct Sound.
You may notice I've shown the Note-off window. This is to draw attention to the range of values produced here. I think a lot of people either ignore note-off or don't really understand what it does. Yes, I admit to being guilty on both counts, for quite a long time!

Very peaceful with the slow tempo. I like it. Many people play this kind of music a bit too fast. I enjoyed it when you played in a relaxed way, unhurried, leisurely…it is like the music strolls down the lane slowly in its relaxed way, and it almost stops some places to smell the flowers as it goes…love it…

Good job! Well done dazric! Thank you for sharing, And nice piano sound.

Best wishes,

Stig

Re: Fuzzy Blues

Thank you! I do like a blues with a laid-back 'late night' feel - it gives me time to figure out what the next chord should be!
