Topic: Problems with half pedalling using Roland FP-10 and DP-10

Hi, I recently got a DP-10 sustain pedal to use alongside my Roland FP-10 and am having a minor issue in Pianoteq. As I understand, the FP-10 doesn't support full continuous detection of the sustain pedal, and only gives 3 velocity values depending on the position of the pedal. This is fine, but the problem I'm having is that the velocity value when the the pedal is pressed half way is 90 rather than an even 64, meaning the half pedal has barely any affect. So the 3 values it gives are 0, 90, and 127. I'm wondering if there's a way to change the half value of 90 to 64. I've tried messing with the pedal velocity curves but these do not have any effect no matter what I try. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Just checking, do you check the midi output value of the pedal in the pedal curve window ? In which case, it is normal that you see 90, as the values displayed are values before any offset is applied. So it seems to me that you are seeing 90 prior adjustment but the final value taken in consideration would be 64 if you change the value (90,64) in the curve. (You can test this behaviour by zeroing all values, and pressing the sustain pedal of  pianoteq , you will see all values between 0-127 being displayed while depressing the pedal slowly, but if you play notes, sustain won't work as all values are transformed to 0)
