I can say now that, true to my habit, I listened to the end first.
From 5,02 - 5,11 I love the ascending ”upgoing” musical ”chromatic similar path”
And about your performance. Nice to hear your version. You said….”in honor of Erroll Garner I made sure to put as many flats as possible in the key signature”. Yes you did!
I think Erroll Garner would be proud of you. He didn’t know how to read music, but you can’t get this kind of expression out of an instrument just by reading sheet music, it has to come from - deep inside you.
It is unique to hear a gorgeous song like this played by budo - brilliant.
Thank you budo!
I suddenly remembered that I have tried to play Misty too.
About 7 years ago I had ”rec on” all the time and tested different pieces of music and styles (Ptq 4 or 5?) Didn't like the results but for some reason all of it was not deleted...found this. I was probably a worse amateur pianist then. At least I think I'm a little better today. At that time I was editing and editing the sound, tried to get an old Garner pianosound....Nowdays I don't change much. But nice to hear it again.
For you budo
