Topic: Any way to remove pedals from UI?

I see 4 pedals, but I only have 3.

Its not a big thing, just wondering if I can remove the pedal I can't use

Thanks

You can simply ignore the pedal. Alternatively you can get a USB pedal input and add a fourth!

This is one example:

yes you can add a usb pedal or even press the pedal directly on the screen . For instance you can play an entire piece ( Bach or baroque) with the harmonic pedal engaged . Just need to press it once before playing and release it afterwards. It sounds really good

That reminds me what always had been on my wishlist for Pianoteq:

A static view!
Where all animated GUI elements are switched OFF. For efficiency reasons I always play with virtual keyboard off and chord detection off. Nice that it is already possible. But I would appreciate that option too for the animated pedals, VU-meter, velocity grapher, CPU usage and Limiter.

I know you can switch the Modartt GUI off if you use it in Reaper. Just use Reaper's Windows/Mac/operating system style sliders.
Also you can hide the GUI altogether in a DAW and still play your instrument for maximum efficiency.

I think one of the main problems is the amount of people stuck on getting superhuman reflex ultra low latency. Increase the buffer slightly, see how you get on.

Re: Any way to remove pedals from UI?

Who wanted to switch off the nice GUI?
For that option I could start: Pianoteq\ 8 --headless

And I'm afraid not being one of your superhumans, see my thread: Can the latency be too short?

Space-wise we are having the "compact view" already. CPU-wise an optional "static view" would be nice in other situations. Or why not a "psychedelic view" for those who like eye-candy? No problem for me

Are there any other options? How to search for these? I can't figure up how to search for these...

Doremidi works very well . MDC-10 ( 2 pedal)  40$ or MDC-20 ( 4 pedals) 60$ . The program allows to program any type of pedals on/ off , continuous, any polarity . No latency , great quality . Works seamlessly with pianoteq .
