Everyone else seems to be doing a parody on this well-known tune... here's mine together with a different arrangement:

The lyrics in case you can't read them...

My Bonnie likes going to nighclubs,
And staying up ever so late.
I'd wait for (her)him early each morning,
To get to our workplace for eight!

Come on, come on, being so late is not good for us;
Come one, come on, run faster or we'll miss our bus!

Well-known song taught to bored students of French. I'd prefer something by Patricia Kass myself !

Thanks a lot for your encouragement, David. Basically, I’ve been trying to stretch myself a little and delve into trying some of the non-pianos and having fun putting them in an ensemble. I think it’s obvious, I have a lot to learn.

Re: Various Tests (P7 v P8)

I appreciate your fortitude and endurance - you're working hard.  As published here, I'm trying to drive my piano's soundboard with transducers, but learning to use a DAW to help with the EQ and such to tame it (as unlike what's possible in Pianoteq natively, I need to separately EQ each the left and right channel, so it's a good "learn a DAW" project).  Unfortunately, I keep avoiding actually learning to sight-read and really play!  Goofing with the sound of the piano is fun enough, I suppose.

Wow - that sounds intense! I'm at an age where I just want a relatively quiet pastime. And, like you, am learning how to use a DAW - both Cakewalk and Cubase. I got the later on sale from Steinberge as a cross-grade from Cakewalk Sonar, which I bought a long time ago and never really got to grips with it.  Unfortunately, I keep avoiding actually learning to sight-read and really play!  What helped me to get good at sight reading was playing for a local operetta group. They would turn up with pieces and just plonk them down on the piano, sing off key and take great liberties with the timing. Some would even say can you put that down a semi-tone meaning a minor third ! Goofing with the sound of the piano is fun enough, I suppose.

You'll have to show us pictures / video when the piano's ready for the debut concert and you're happy with it.
