Topic: CPU usage while system is idle and/or sleeping.

I find the Pianoteq 8 standalone is using about 3% CPU when idle, and when my computer switches to sleep mode, it appears the usage continues. This causes my CPU to slowly heat up and for the fans to kick in while it is still asleep. Closing Pianoteq before the computer goes into sleep mode solves the fan problem, but I like being able to hit a key on my keyboard to wake up the system. I am wondering if there is a way to minimize CPU use when idle or in sleep mode?  (Oddly enough, my fans do not run when using Pianoteq for an hour in the morning, and it take about 2 hours of sleep for them to kick in.)

Re: CPU usage while system is idle and/or sleeping.

In my case under W10, Pianoteq doesn't use almost any CPU power while idle, the first places are used by stupid windows' services that I don't care about, as always with windows. In any case, only 3% of CPU shouldn't be enough to heat up the processor.
(My laptop is an MSI GL62M 7RD from about 6 years ago or something like that, with an i7-7700HQ)
