Topic: Would it be possible to set guitar tuning to that of a bass?

What the title says. Would be great to use a bass version of classical guitar, perhaps tuning an octave lower and setting a longer string length?
Should be possible if relevant parameters are exposed if the internal modeling algorithm is already taking them into account, unless it already is and I am unaware.

Also a request for modartt would be the ability to tweak tuning aside from the 8-9 already provided. What do you guys think?

That's a very cool idea! There is such a thing as an acoustic bass guitar, so why not?

I would be very interested in a plucked upright bass model. I've got a few sample sets of upright basses but have always found them too fiddly to use. They're probably aimed at people wanting to take a long time over laying down a track in which the bass sounds as close to the real thing as possible. You (I) can't easily 'play' them 'live'. I'm 100% on Linux these days and haven't been able to find anything that fits the bill. I.
