Topic: How long is 25% discount available?

{Sorry, I couldn't find the answer to this, either.}

Is there a date after which the 25% discount for v.8 is no longer available?

Until November 28th, we offer 25% off

Re: How long is 25% discount available?

Does anybody know if the 25% discount is also available for upgrading from Pianoteq 7 standard to 8 standard? I only see the 30e price in my cart when I try to upgrade. Is there some voucher/code that I should use?
Thank you!

The 25% discount is not applicable to the upgrade price. The reason will be that the upgrade price of 29 € is already very generous. Especially since it applies to any previous version.

The version upgrade is imho sensibly priced to encourage maximum uptake, to get as many people onboard with it as possible.

Apart from the cosmetic elements sometimes you get arguably more significant upgrades during an existing version.

Yeah, I'd normally agree with that, but in recent years I have played the piano very rarely, (once every 1-2 months), so it feels like barely any time at all passed since I upgraded to version 7 and haven't really used it. I'm obviously curious about version 8, but since I rarely play, I wanted to check if there may be a discount as well

I guess I'll just upgrade as is when I'm ready and think of it as contributing to modarrt's amazing work

Thanks for the answers!

Haha,
Your answer is the antidote to the surprising  number of folks that actually bought the product all over again at full price not realising that wasn't actually the price for the update. I know things have gone up in price an awful lot recently due to the world circumstances but that's something else!!!

I think it's sensibly priced. It's more like a maintenance top up charge. Some of us will get small benefits from the changes, others will get big ones.
Given the layering and morphing Pianoteq 7 was a bigger relative upgrade than 8. However I still appreciate the improvements, the new visuals, the new note modulation function, the mono to stereo effects. The improvements the Wurly model in particular.
Others will enjoy the upcoming iPad compatibility, which is apparently an addition to the full version.
