Topic: How to record/play back?

Another "how to" question...

I saw the little "record" button on Pianoteq.  If I record myself playing, where is the recording stored, and how can I find it to play it back?  Can I also share it with others (e.g., as an attachment in an e-mail)?

Sorry to ask something so basic, but this is new to me.  I love this Forum. Thanks for any help you can provide!

The Record button records your MIDI performance (not the audio). To save the MIDI file, or to export an audio file (of the MIDI recording or file) using the currently-selected instrument, look at File menu-->Save MIDI file and File menu-->Export to audio file.

Re: How to record/play back?

Also, everything you play is automatically recorded by default, so if you play something brilliantly and think 'I should have recorded that', it will be there in 'Recently played on the keyboard'! If you want to save it with a memorable file name, you can 'Save MIDI file as...'.
