I bought the studio for 809 plus tax (~$880) last week. I wonder if I can get a price match difference refund from B&H since modartt is having a sale for the studio at $674.25 plus tax.
It does not sound as the way the market works. Last week there was no discount on Modartt website either. If we knew future prices, we could make better decisions .

Check your "money back" guarantee with B&H. It may be the easiest course if available. If so, you can then purchase directly from Modartt.
If not, you should certainly get a free update, since you should be entitled to that for 1 year after purchase.
Also, you may send Modartt an email explaining the situation. I doubt they would give you any money back, but I found that they are usually generous with coupons, and can give you one that you can used for future upgrades (or OrganTeq, if you are into that).
