Hello crownbird.
At first, nice to listen to K2, it is not often used. Sounds good in this piece.
Secondly, I’m not the right person to say how people should play, but I have an opinion and I like the tempo, although many people play it faster, some slower. And the way you play the ritardando is perfect to me. And the sfz, suddenly with force, is perfect too. Staccato is good.
Anyway, I think a piece like this, you can play it any way you like, making your own personal style on it.
Someone said it is one of those pieces that are easy to learn but hard to master. Well……….
All in all you play it much better than I did in the short time I took lessons when I was young. It quickly ended when I was told that I would never be a pianist. Sad. But have practiced all my life on my own and when I found Ptq in 2013 I got really interested and have learned much in this forum. So much that I can't stop recording and uploading, and still learning new things, although it takes longer than when young
Keep up the good work
Best wishes,
Stig
