Topic: Audio issues with other programs while PianoTeq is on

Hi all,

When I use PianoTeq Stage it completely mutes or destroys the audio quality of any other programs that I use. The problem is fixed when I change the output on PianoTeq to something I'm not using, but then I obviously can't hear PianoTeq.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Hiero,
Missing details:

Standalone or inside a DAW?
If the latter what DAW?
What operating system?

Sound interface in exclusive or shared modes?
Usually you should use exclusive modes which shut off other sources of sound anyway.

I'm using the standalone program on Windows 10 and it has the problem with any sound interface mode. Weirdly enough, I'm pretty sure that even in the exclusive mode I could hear other programs before this issue started happening.

Something to try..

Ignoring the manufacturers specific product you can use this guide - check you have it matched with Pianoteq:
