Topic: Sound Only Coming from Speakers , Not Headphones?

I recently bought a new HP laptop, installed PianoTeq 7 Pro to use with my PianoDisc ProRecord (installed in Estonia L-190).
Using ASIO4all.

I can't get the sound to come out of the headphones, it insists on coming out of the speakers.
Other programs (ex: accuradio) work fine through the headphones.

As much as I enjoy the sound through good speakers, I really need to be able to practice using headphones.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Hi MainePianoMan. In the Asio4All settings, turn off the top HD output channel, then enable the bottom '2nd channel'. Remember to change this back when you want to use loudspeakers again.

Thanks Nick!

Your suggestion works perfectly!
Now I can enjoy practicing as loud and as much as I want without disturbing my fiancee who works in the next room.
(She works from home as do I except when I'm tuning pianos or playing gigs).

Much appreciated.

Thank you Chris,

While I have indeed retired from PianoWorld, I will continue to tune pianos, play gigs, practice, compose.
I hope to get married before the end of the year (my fiancee now lives with me).
I'd also like to take up woodworking, learn to play the violin, take voice lessons, and learn to draw/paint.

And I'm into landscaping and gardening (we will be looking for our "forever home" once I've sold my 8 bedroom house in Maine) and reading, and I still have my online store (which I've scaled back to be mostly drop ship items. Now I just need to sell all the music gift items I used to carry).

I guess what I'm trying to say is I look at retirement as an opportunity to stay busy doing things I want to
do versus things I have to do. Heck I'm only 70 :-)

Best,
Frank B.
