Topic: Feature Request - Velocity Blending

I own both Pianoteq and Omnisphere+Keyscape.
There is a feature in Omnisphere that I totally love and wish it were available in Pionoteq (IP allowing).

In Omnisphere, I am able to build a profile controlling at what played velocities various instruments will play. This allows for some truly spectacular instruments to be built (especially EPs). Spectrasonics may have a patent on this behavior, but as a holder of 25 US patents, I assure you, there is a way around darn near any patent if one works at it.

Suggestion: there are currently about 120 pages in the general discussion forum. I can search that forum for content, but only one page at a time! Would it be possible to add the ability for a search to apply to ALL the pages (at once) - at least within a given forum group.

Actually, I might suggest a focused forum dedicated to improvements and features people would like to see in future releases. A good start would be to cross-post any post that contains the word "feature" in the subject - in that new forum.

Speaking of this Velocity profiles for Layers & Blends - Omnisphere did not implement this in the best way for live performing. They made it apply at the "Multi" level only. I wish they had applied it to the "Voice" level (i.e. A, B, C, D). I would be happy to see this ability in Pianoteq. In addition to Velocity profiles, Omni allows tor "Note" and "CC" profiles.

- and, BTW - I think Sample-based VST keyboards are now dead. Good job Modartt!
I would definitely consider your model-based instruments for organs and woodwinds if you ever did that. I currently recommend Blue3 and SWAM both of which are quite good.

Re: Feature Request - Velocity Blending

Very interesting. I know first hand what having layers with individually assigned velocities is all about.  I have played many Hammond XB3M organs that can layer 5 different voices on each keyboard - all having velocity settings.  It is totally orchestrally lifelike.
