Topic: Feature request: moving the velocity curve on the plane

A very simple request:
it could be very useful to be able to move the entire velocity curve up or down, step by step.
In this way, one could preserve the 'derivative' (the slope of the curve) while changing the average value of the entire curve,
particularly useful for those experimenting with a compressed velocity curve (with a moderate slope, useful for controlling a slightly fast keyboard).

Thank you

In the same idea, a setting of the midi sensitivity in Pianoteq could be a good addition for those who don't feel confortable with the velocity curve tweaks.

This would be very useful.

Yes! This is one of those very simple, yet brilliant 'why didn't I think of that?' ideas - it should get a lot of support.

Agreed.  I've given it a plus one also.

Or left and right??

Warmest regards,

Yes, of course!
Thank you all. Actually, after a while, I was thinking about something like:
"select a few (or all) points of the curve e shift them together with cursor arrows"
I should remain a very simple request...

Oh, I can see 'select all dots' with drag & cursor movement being pretty slick, if doable.

For now, though slower, right clicking the dots and altering the pop-up numbers is the way to make the alteration exacting.. but often fast is the way to get closer to where we then begin with the exacting part.

I like this, good thinking, thanks alexmessina!
