Topic: Tomorrow Never Knows (Pianoteq)

continuing the theme of summer vacation, here's another tune that's a bit out there for piano.  it's my absolute favorite Beatles tune, for various reasons.  some people say this is the turning point after which their music became truly transcendent, others say it's where it all went wrong.  for me this tune is amazing and always blows me away.  it's hard to know what to do with it on piano, since it's impossible to replicate the original recording.  but it's still a lot of fun to play!

Very fast intensive brilliant playing. It’s like you, again, are the instrument, not Ptq - I think your thoughts in your head, how to express and perform before you touch the keys - there is the instrument - You !   

So many nice sections. I can always here them. Intro long, then they come, several nice sections - 1,52 - 2,42  3,20 - a s o
The small pause/silence, 6,10 - 6,12, before the stormy end is a nice contrast. Bravo budo! And the song is all in C  !
I like Beatles music very much, have those LP’s,  CD*s….Have played many of the songs.

Tomorrow never knows - Ringo said that, but the name was first The void. It’s all about psychedelic experience, lsd, interesting indian music, tapes on tapes on tapes…..the most crucial single track The Beatles created in order to push the boundaries of what music could be.

(John wanted the song to sound like a Tibetan choir of monks or the Dalai Lama singing on top of a mountain. The end result sounds like John singing at the end of a long tunnel, which was achieved by looping his voice through a leslie speaker!!  )

You're doing very well budo. Keep it up!
