Topic: Little Wing (Pianoteq)
here's something that's not exactly a jazz standard but it's one of my favorite tunes of all time, a great chord progression that's a lot of fun to play on top of. and it's summer vacation so why not have some fun

Wow budo ! Hendrix played on piano. I like the chord progression and your nice journeys on top of it. You are one of my keyboard heroes.
This is again a nice example of that ”when you love what you do”. Listening to this I think it is very technical…but you interpret beautifully. I like sections 2,00 - 2,30 and 2,46 - 3,07 especially. This is a piece I could listen to when driving alone in my car.
I didn't know anything about Hendrix in 1967, but I became familiar with his music, a bit later, through my friends who played guitar.
Many thanks budo, for sharing good music. And as you said, summer vacation so why not have some fun - yes, I enjoyed it much
Best wishes,
Stig

This is very nicely done. Great stuff. Personally I'm not a fan of hendrix but like this a lot. The piano sound is spot on!

thank you so much for your comments. Hendrix was a great musician who has always meant a lot to me, even though i'm a terrible guitar player. this may be the only song of his that's plausible on piano but i might try some others
I can only agree with the other comments! Very nice...
