E Melartin Waltz ( Valssi) Op. 23 no. 2.
This piece is maybe a bit obscure music, doesn't refer to a particular genre. It's the music that you can't hear on mainstream radio or TV stations or Spotify. Music that requires some effort to find.
It’s a piece from an opus called Miniatures for Piano. Fxp Erard-Pleyel (by algorhythms)
Maybe this is not off topic when i say, I think it’s relevant to say when listening to Melartin’s music, that - I was reading old documents about my family and found out that my grandmother’s father A. Hedlund had studied for Erkki Melartin:
”It is hereby certified that Mr. A.Hedlund has for a long time with me conducted studies in the theory and composition of music and that these studies have resulted in several beautiful compositions…” (translated from swedish)
Helsinki 26 5 1914 Erkki Melartin
Maybe I have some musical roots
