Topic: Tremble (Cover) - Vintage Tines MKI

Used the Vintage Times MKI for this cover. Had some troubles getting it to cut through in the mix and ended up layering it with the same MIDI part but transposed up an octave which seemed to help.

I missed this one but better late than never.

Well done markheath! Getting the videos in sync with the playing is probably not easy. I’m an amateur but to me it’s perfect. And the finger drumming is very nice, I would never be able to do that. How do you get 5 videos in one? It looks very nice
Thanks for sharing. Keep them coming! I think you are an experimenter too, a good one.

Re: Tremble (Cover) - Vintage Tines MKI

thanks Stig,

I recorded all the videos on my webcam in the Windows camera app and used a program called Camtasia for the video editing. Camtasia is perhaps not the best video editor for this usage (I use it more frequently for making coding tutorial videos), but it's what I had available, and it does have basic features like fades, and putting borders around videos. I've discovered that I need to make sure I use a WAV file rather than MP3 for the audio, or Camtasia really struggles to play in sync while editing.

great video.  so cool to see everything put together.  also now i'm thinking i have to get into fingerdrumming, great job with it!
