Interesting, but the music choice could have also more from middle and lower range.

I am always complaining about this sort of videos and what they are supposed to showcase and since long I've come to accept the fact it is just me and is useful to some others but in at least three sampled pianos I heard the sympathetic resonance is not even turned on. What's the point?

The thing I find amazing is that they are all very good. Certainly at least as good and mostly better than the built in pianos on the DPs I've heard. I really like the sound of the Garritin CFX, but if I am honest, I could play any of them and if I didn't have the side by side comparison I would be happy with what I had. It is exciting we have so many good ones to choose from. VST piano people, I think, like to experiment with different instruments and settings. In that respect Pianoteq is an amazing value. You get a lot of pianos for the price of one or two of the big ones. But if I just wanted to play piano on a really good VST I would probably choose the Garritin CFX. I just love the room accoustics on that piano. Perhaps Pianoteq can be tweaked to emulate it, but I really do enjoy that full, rich sound of the CFX. If Pianoteq sold a CFX piano, I think a lot of people would probably buy it. Just my 2 cents, which is worth what, about 1.4 cents today.

Totally agree. Pretty amazing to be so spoiled for choice.
For me the major limitation of these video comparisons is the fact it can't transmit playability. Pianoteq major advantage, compared to other VST, it's the incomparable playability in most details, from piano response to the complete ressonance effects.
From this perspective I supose these comparisons are not very fair with pianoteq. That's why I think it could be nice to add some sort of slogan on Modartt website, something like : "You have to play to trully feel it "
